LingoQuote

The guide to your business on LingoQuote

Everything from your phone: say what the job needs, send the quote from your phone, the customer signs with a finger, and you see who paid. Here is everything you need on day one.

14 days free, no credit card. Everything is open from the first minute. After that you pick a plan, and every plan has everything in this guide.

The first 10 minutes

Grab your phone. Three small things and you are ready for your first quote.

1. Sign up from your phone

Open LingoQuote on your phone and sign up. It takes about a minute. No computer needed.

2. Pick your trades

Tap what you do: tile, plumbing, drywall, painting, electrical, and so on. You can pick more than one.

3. Put it on your home screen

So it opens like an app. iPhone: open it in Safari, tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen". Android: open it in Chrome and tap "Install". Now it's one tap away.

Your price list starts empty, and that's fine

Your first quote starts from an empty price list. Every price you type is remembered. Example: you type "tile, $12 a sq ft" once, and on the next quote $12 is already there. The more quotes you make, the less you type.

From quote to final payment

The usual path of a job, step by step. Example all the way through: a bathroom remodel in Houston, 3 days, $4,200.

1. Say the quote out loud

Tap the microphone and talk like you'd talk to a friend: "Tile, 45 square feet at 12 dollars. Remove the old vanity. Two new outlets." LingoQuote writes the lines with quantities and prices. You can speak English, Spanish and other languages.

2. Or quote from a photo

Take a photo of the room or the damage, and LingoQuote drafts the lines from it. Always check the numbers before you send.

3. Fix any line

Tap a line to change the quantity, the price or the words. Add a line or delete one. The total updates by itself.

4. Split it by rooms

A bigger job? Group the lines by room: Kitchen, Master bath, Hallway. The customer sees exactly what goes where.

5. Included, not included, warranty

Write what's included ("haul-away of old tile"), what's not ("paint"), and your warranty ("1 year on labor"). Clear now means no arguments later.

6. Send it from your phone

Share the quote link from your phone by WhatsApp or text message (SMS), like you'd share any link. It goes from your own number, so the customer knows it's you.

7. The customer signs with a finger

The customer opens the link, reads the quote in their own language and signs with a finger on their phone. Mike reads it in English, Mrs. Ramírez reads it in Spanish. Same quote.

8. Deposit and stage payments

Ask for a deposit, then split the rest into stages. Example: $1,000 to start, $2,000 when the tile is in, $1,200 at the end. Each stage gets its own page the customer opens to pay.

9. Extra work? Say it

The customer wants one more thing? Make a change order by voice: "Add a niche in the shower, $350." The customer approves it on their phone, and it joins the job.

10. Paid? Tap "Mark as paid"

When the money lands in your account, tap "Mark as paid" on that stage. Now you always know who paid and who still owes.

11. Ask for a review

Job done and everyone's happy? Send the customer a review request. Good reviews show on your mini-site and help you win the next job.

What your customers receive

The customer needs no app and no password. They get a link from you and open it on their phone, in their own language.

A quote to sign

A clean page with the lines, what's included, what's not, and the warranty. They sign with a finger. Example: Mrs. Ramírez opens the Houston bathroom quote at 9 pm, reads it in Spanish, signs, done.

A page for each payment

Each stage has a page that shows how much and how to pay you: your payment link, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App or bank details, whatever you set up.

Change orders to approve

Extra work comes as a link too. The customer reads it and approves it on their phone. No "I never agreed to that".

One link for the whole job

Send the customer portal link once. Inside they find the quote, the change orders and the payments for that job, all in one place.

Invoice or receipt

You can share an invoice or receipt document with the customer, or print it.

Getting paid

LingoQuote never holds your money. The customer pays you straight, the way you already get paid. You just tell LingoQuote how.

Tell us how you get paid

In Settings, add your ways to get paid: a payment link (Square, Stripe or PayPal), Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, or bank details. Add one or add them all.

The customer pays you directly

The customer opens the stage page and pays with what you set up. The money goes straight to you, not through us.

Money arrived? Mark it

Check your account. The $1,000 deposit is there? Tap "Mark as paid" on that stage. Simple.

Expenses from a receipt photo

At the lumber yard? Snap the receipt and it's saved as an expense on the job. No shoebox full of paper.

Profit per job

Every job shows what's really left for you. Example: bathroom remodel $4,200, materials and expenses $1,350, so $2,850 is left.

Invoice or receipt for the job

Make an invoice or receipt document to share or print. LingoQuote is not accounting software: give the document to your bookkeeper.

Your mini-site

Every business gets its own little web page: who you are, what you do, and what customers say about you.

Your page, ready to share

Put the link in your Instagram bio, on your business card or in a text to a new lead. Example: "Mike's Tile & Bath, Houston, 5 stars".

Real reviews

Reviews from your customers show on the page. New customers trust what old customers say.

More reviews after every job

When a job is finished, send the review request. One happy customer today is a new customer next month.

On the job: crew and suppliers

Everything about a job lives in its job card. Your crew can work in it too.

Photos

Take photos before, during and after. Example: the old cracked tile on day 1, the finished shower on day 3. It protects you if there's ever an argument.

Voice notes

Hands dirty? Record a voice note instead of typing: "Water shut-off is behind the dryer."

Daily log

A few words a day on what got done: "Day 2: tile set, grout tomorrow." Later you can see the whole story of the job.

Materials list to the supplier

Build the materials list from the job: "12 boxes of tile, 3 bags of thin-set, 1 vanity." Send it to your supplier from your phone.

Invite your workers

Invite a worker to your team. Example: Carlos joins and sees the Houston job on his own phone.

Workers don't see money

Workers see their jobs, photos and notes. Prices and profit stay hidden, unless you choose to let them see.
