This page explains how to export and delete your data in LingoQuote. It is for contractors who have an account, and for the customers of those contractors. LingoQuote (lingoquote.com) is operated by Barak AI (Kobi Barak), Israel. Email: hello@lingoquote.com. Postal address: available on request.

Export your data first

You can export your data at any time from your account. Once deletion is complete, the data cannot be recovered.

How to delete your account

Delete your account from your account settings, or email hello@lingoquote.com from the email address on your account. If the request comes from another address, we will ask you to confirm that the account is yours.

Deleting your account also cancels your subscription renewal. You are not charged again.

30 days to change your mind

After you ask to delete your account, you have 30 days to change your mind. To cancel the deletion, email hello@lingoquote.com within those 30 days.

After 30 days, we delete your account and its content.

What is deleted

Your account and sign-in details, business details, mini-site, customers and their details, quotes, photos, signed documents and signatures, payment-stage records, messages and reviews.

Links you shared with your customers (for example to quotes and the customer portal) stop working.

What we keep, and why

Billing records and invoices for your subscription, for as long as tax and accounting laws require.

Data we must keep to comply with the law, or to establish or defend legal claims, only for as long as needed.

Copies in backups, for a limited time until those backups are overwritten. We do not use them during that time.

Messages already delivered stay on the recipients' devices, and we cannot delete them there. Records held by your own payment provider stay with that provider, under its terms.

Deleting some data without closing your account

You can also ask us to delete specific data without closing your account. Email hello@lingoquote.com and tell us what you want deleted.

If you are a contractor's customer

Your data in LingoQuote (for example your name, contact details, quotes, signatures and photos) is held for the contractor you worked with. The contractor decides how it is used, so please contact them first.

If you cannot reach the contractor, email hello@lingoquote.com with the contractor's business name and the phone number or email address the messages were sent to. We will pass your request to the contractor and help them respond.

A contractor may be allowed or required by law to keep some records, such as a signed contract.
