About these terms
Last updated: October 2026.
LingoQuote (lingoquote.com) is operated by Barak AI (Kobi Barak), Israel. Email: hello@lingoquote.com. Postal address: available on request. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Barak AI, and “you” means the person or business that uses LingoQuote.
By creating an account or using LingoQuote you accept these terms. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. If you accept these terms for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it.
You must be at least 18 years old to use LingoQuote. LingoQuote is designed for business use by contractors. If you are a consumer under the law of the country where you live, you also have the rights that law gives you, and nothing in these terms takes them away.
The service
LingoQuote is a web app for contractors. It lets you create quotes from voice notes and photos, have your customers sign electronically, track payment stages, keep job photos, share a customer portal, publish a mini-site, and collect reviews.
We may change, add or remove features over time. If we remove a feature that is central to your paid plan, we will tell you in advance.
Your account
Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for everything done in your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone has used your account without permission.
Free trial
You can try LingoQuote free for 14 days. No card is needed for the trial, and nothing is charged during it.
When the trial ends, choose a paid plan to keep using LingoQuote. You are charged only if you subscribe.
Plans, prices and taxes
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Prices are shown on our pricing page and at checkout, in US dollars (USD) or pounds sterling (GBP). Taxes, such as sales tax or VAT, may apply and are shown at checkout.
Payments for your subscription are processed by our payment provider, named at checkout. If that provider acts as the reseller (merchant of record) for your purchase, its terms of sale also apply, and it issues your invoices and handles taxes on the sale.
We will tell you by email before a price increase applies to you. A new price applies from your next renewal after the notice. If you do not agree, you can cancel before that renewal.
Automatic renewal
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel. At each renewal we charge your payment method on file the price of your plan for the next period.
Before you subscribe, we show you the price, how often you will be charged, and how to cancel. After you subscribe, we send you a confirmation by email that includes this information.
How to cancel
You can cancel at any time online, in one click: use the “Cancel subscription” button in your account, or the cancellation link in the footer of our website. You can also email us.
Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
We do not give refunds for partial months or unused parts of a billing period, except where the law requires it (see the next section).
14-day right to cancel (UK and EU consumers)
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, you have the right to cancel your paid subscription within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. The free trial does not count towards these 14 days.
If you ask us to start the paid service straight away, and then cancel within the 14 days, you may have to pay for the service provided up to the time you told us you were cancelling. Where the law allows, the right to cancel ends once the service has been fully provided, or once supply of digital content has started, if you gave your express consent and acknowledged that you would lose the right. We will ask for this at checkout.
To cancel, use the cancellation button or email hello@lingoquote.com with a clear statement that you are cancelling. We will refund any amount due within 14 days, using the payment method you used.
Your content and your customers' data
The content you add to LingoQuote (for example quotes, photos and customer details) stays yours. You give us permission to host, process and display it only as needed to provide the service to you.
You are responsible for your content and for having a lawful basis to collect and use your customers' personal data, including telling them how you use it.
For your customers' data, we act as your processor or service provider. Our Data Processing Addendum (DPA) forms part of these terms for business customers and is available on request.
You can export your data at any time.
AI features
Some features use AI to create drafts, for example a quote from a voice note or photos. AI output can be wrong or incomplete, for example in quantities, prices or wording.
AI output is a draft. You must review and approve it before you send it. You are responsible for the quotes and documents you send to your customers.
We tell you when content is generated by AI. Our AI providers do not use your data to train their models.
Electronic signatures
LingoQuote lets your customers sign quotes and documents electronically. In the US (under the federal ESIGN Act and state laws based on the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act) and in the UK, electronic signatures are generally legally valid. Some documents or transactions may need extra formalities, notices or consents.
You are responsible for the content of your quotes and contracts, and for meeting any contract formalities and consumer notices that apply to your trade and location. Document templates in LingoQuote are for convenience and are not legal advice.
We are not a party to any contract between you and your customer.
Payments between you and your customers
LingoQuote does not process, receive or hold payments between you and your customers. You use your own payment provider.
Payment-stage tracking in LingoQuote is a record to help you manage the job. Any payment dispute is between you and your customer.
Messages to your customers
You usually share links with your customers from your own phone.
If LingoQuote sends text messages, WhatsApp messages or emails on your behalf, you are the sender and you are responsible for having each recipient's consent where the law requires it, for example under the US Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), US state laws, carrier rules, and UK and EU marketing rules. Do not use LingoQuote to send marketing messages to people who have not agreed to receive them.
Recipients can reply STOP to a text message to stop receiving texts. Do not try to message them again through LingoQuote after they opt out.
Delivery depends on carriers and messaging platforms. We cannot guarantee that every message is delivered.
Mini-site and reviews
You are responsible for what you publish on your mini-site.
Reviews must be genuine. Do not write, buy or invent reviews, and do not hide or alter reviews to mislead people. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.
Acceptable use
Do not use LingoQuote to break the law, send spam, mislead or harass anyone, or upload content that infringes other people's rights.
Do not try to access other users' data, get around security or usage limits, interfere with the service, or copy or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows.
Suspension and closing your account
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, does not pay, or puts the service or other people at risk. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
You can close your account at any time. See our Data deletion page.
Our rights in LingoQuote
The LingoQuote software, design and brand belong to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use LingoQuote while your account is active and in line with these terms.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.
Disclaimers
We work to keep LingoQuote available and accurate, but to the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will achieve a particular business result.
LingoQuote does not give legal, tax or financial advice.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, business or data that you could have exported.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Your responsibility to us (business customers)
If you use LingoQuote for a business, you agree to cover our reasonable losses from third-party claims arising from your content, the messages you send through LingoQuote, or your contracts and dealings with your customers.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will tell you about material changes in advance, by email or in the app. If you keep using LingoQuote after the change takes effect, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before that date.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live where the law gives you that right.
Before going to court, please contact us at hello@lingoquote.com so we can try to solve the problem together.
General
These terms, together with our Privacy policy and, for business customers, our DPA, are the whole agreement between you and us about LingoQuote.
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we do not give it up. We may transfer these terms to a company that takes over LingoQuote; we will tell you if we do.
These terms are available in English and Spanish. If the two versions differ, the English version prevails, unless the law requires otherwise.
